About the Author

Don Taylor, Jr. was born in Charles Town, WV. He was raised in Philadelphia, PA and Baltimore, MD. For over thirty years he taught and worked as a Human Services professional as an individual, family and group counselor. Much of his most recent clinical work has focused on manhood issues.

Don lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife, Vicki, and he is a retired Professor of Sociology in the College of Arts & Sciences at Johnson & Wales University, Charlotte campus.
